We have a new shelter resident!

Meet Ann, an eight year old lab mix, who recently moved from the Western PA Humane Society Animal Shelter to the Pleasant Valley Homeless Men’s Shelter.  The move required just a short walk between the two Northside Social Service organizations, but the results were life changing. Winners of Our Third Annual Food Pantry Brunch – SpringBoard Kitchen (pictured: SpringBoard Kitchen winners; Mike Smith, President/CEO Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania; Jay Poliziani, Executive Director of Northside Common Ministries) This year’s brunch challenge raised $4,000, a $1,300 increase from last year. It was held at the New Hazlett Theater.
