CURRENT EVENTS

Holiday Joy!
What an amazing time of year! People just keep stopping by NCM to drop off toys for needy children, coats and blankets for the homeless, food for our pantry and presents for the men in our shelter. It's hard to feel bad when you get to see so much good!

 NCM summer raffle

And the winner is.... Judith Jerry won the NCM $7,500.00 raffle. Thanks to all who purchased tickets this year--the sale of raffle tickets generated over $3,000.00 that will be used to provide for the needs of the hungry and homeless in our area.

Celebration of Caring
This years event was a huge success!
Nearly 200 guests enjoyed a delightful meal and wonderful entertainment and helped us raise well over $10,000.00 to be put to use helping feed and house the hungry and homeless in our area.

Shelter Volunteers
Every day of the year, generous volunteers from churches throughout the Pittsburgh area prepare, deliver and serve the evening meal for shelter residents. Hundreds of volunteers from over 60 area churches are involved in this important and much appreciated process.

“The main reason I prepare and serve the meal is that I enjoy knowing I am making a difference in the lives of the men who stay at the Shelter. They are always very appreciative. A secondary reason is that by having my family help prepare the meal and serve the men at the Shelter, they learn important life lessons as well.”
