Holiday Joy!
What an amazing time of year! People just keep stopping by NCM to drop off toys for needy children, coats and blankets for the homeless, food for our pantry and presents for the men in our shelter. It's hard to feel bad when you get to see so much good!

 NCM summer raffle

And the winner is.... Judith Jerry won the NCM $7,500.00 raffle. Thanks to all who purchased tickets this year--the sale of raffle tickets generated over $3,000.00 that will be used to provide for the needs of the hungry and homeless in our area.

NCM’s Permanent Housing Program In accordance with our mission to “receive the stranger,” offers housing to men who are working to break the cycle of homelessness.

This program is designed to address the long-term needs of men who are homeless and who have disabilities. It offers some financial assistance, case management to address, emotional and physical needs, and employment and education referrals. Services are based on the individual’s needs and are provided with one-on-one intensive case management through goal planning.

Through NCM’s Permanent Housing program, dozens of men with disabilities now live in apartments throughout the Northside and other Pittsburgh neighborhoods.

How can you help the men in our permanent housing program remain stable and independent? Consider holding a housewares collection at your chuch, school, community group or office. The men in this program as well as the men in our shelter are always in need of new twin size sheet sets, new bath towels, laundry detergent and cleaning products.
